Yann SLAMA is a self-taught French photographer, born in 1987 in Lyon.
After six months in the western United States, he returns with several series from this trip: Abandon, Nostalgia 66, Blue Diamond and LA Technicolor.
In 2016, Yann received the Special Jury Mention for his Blue Diamond photographic exhibition at the Institut National de Géographie de Paris.
Between 2017 and 2018, his reports were published in The Birmingham Mail, Birmingham What's On or even in Gonzaï magazine.
He will exhibit in the summer of 2019 his series "LADOGA" during the 4th edition of the Festival Champ Libre.
These images retracing a trip to Russia (Karelia) highlight the anachronistic and deleterious atmosphere of this region.
In 2016, he wrote and directed his first short film, Tarde Venientibus Ossa, and is currently working on the development of the second.
Since 2015, he has been responsible for the media and video pole within the Champ Libre collective and covers the entire festival as a photographer.
